Analysis of the root causes of inventory, through an inventory deep dive analysis.

The inventory deep dive consisted of various stages:

  • Creation of an inventory loss tree, defining the drivers, levers and root causes of inventory

  • Detailed analysis to various drivers of stock to their levers and ultimately their root causes

  • Creation of an inventory dashboard to gain insight into the impact of each lever on the inventory by SKU and location

  • Defining and action plan to gain control over the levers to drive the inventory in line with the company targets
